Uardians of the Sky: Russia Celebrates Aerospace Defense Forces Day

   

The holiday is dedicated to the troops tasked with repelling attacks from air and space. Russia’s defenders of the sky are equipped with advanced vehicles such as the S-400 and Pantsir-S1, which can be seen in the video.

Furthermore, soon Russia will deploy its promising S-500 Prometey air defense systems.

In 2015 the Russian Air Force was merged with the Aerospace Defense Forces to form the Aerospace Forces.
